HOW TO SET THE INN-FORM PLUS FOR AN INTERFACE 
TO A HOLIDEX PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

(1)  The interface to a PMS-HX must be programmed on site.
     The pin out for the serial printer port is:
     Pin #2 receive
     Pin #3 transmit and
     Pin #7 Signal Ground...

(2) Use the "N" key to program the start and end of message
    Start of message will be in Department # 606 = ^E^F3^B^F5
          Press the "N" key
               Display says: "Name for Deparment #"
          Press 606
          Press ENTER and the Display says: "Enter Name"
          Press shift
          Press 6
          Press shift
          Press E
          Press shift
          Press 6
          Press shift
          Press Function 3 key (F3)
          Press shift
          Press 6
          Press shift
          Press B
          Press shift
          Press 6
          Press shift
          Press Function 5 key (F5) the Display says: ^E^{^B^l
          If this appears correctly in the display press ENTER

          End of message will be in department # 607 = ^C^F4
          Press the "N" key
               Display says: "Name for Deparment #"
          Press 607
          Press ENTER and the Display says: "Enter Name"
          Press shift
          Press 6
          Press shift
          Press C
          Press shift
          Press 6
          Press shift
          Press Function 4 key (F4) Display says: ^C^}
          If this appears correctly in the display press ENTER
     NOTE: ^ = shift 6
     ^E = 05 = ENQ       ^F3 = { = WAIT FOR ACK OR NAK 
     ^B = 02 = STX       ^F4 = } = END BCC
     ^C = 03 = ETX       ^F5 = l = START BCC
     Step #2 is now complete.....

STEPS #3 THROUGH #5 ARE ALL USING PROGRAM #33

(3)  Using Program 33 adjust SMDR parameters #34 and #35 
          #34 for an Ack value of 6
          #35 for a Nak value of 21




(4)  While still in Program 33 set the data stream protocol for the
     PLUS serial printer port to match the property management
     system protocol.  Use SMDR #50 and enter one of the following
     values that represents the protocol required by the property
     management system:
Values for protocol...
( -1 = 8N1)    ( -2 = 7N1)    ( -9 = 8N2)    (-10 = 7N2)
(-18 = 7Odd1)  (-22 = 7E1)    (-25 = 8Odd2)  (-26 = 7Odd2)
(-29 = 8E2)    (-30 = 7E2)    (-21 = 8E1)    (-17 = 8 Odd 1)

(5)  Use SMDR #48 to adjust the baud rate on the serial 
     port to match the baud rate of the property management
     system.
Values for Baud Rate...
(-35 = 300)    (-52 = 600)    (-1 = 1200)   (17 = 2400)
( 0 = 4800)    (34 = 9600)

               Press ENTER twice to exit Program #33 
               and go on to step #5.

(6)  Press the Red Reset button on the back of the unit.

     REMEMBER TO USE PROGRAM #25 TO PROGRAM THE HOSPITALITY MASK.
