INNSURE CABLES

   PROBLEM                    VOLTS NORMAL        VOLTS DISCONNECTED
SMDR IN DISCONNECTED:         PIN 4,5 NEGATIVE    NO VOLTAGES

                              The on hook/off hook looks normal but as you hang
                              up the timers will not freeze insteadly like it
                              does if it's hooked up properly.  You will not get
                              SMDR IN/OUT on the display in the window at the
                              bottom of the screen.

                              VOLTS NORMAL        VOLTS BACKWARDS
SMDR IN CONNECTED BACKWARDS:  PINS 4,5 NEGATIVE   PINS 2,20 NEGATIVE
                                                  PINS 3,6 POSITIVE

                              The OFF/HOOK CONNECT timer doesn't freeze the
                              timer right after the call has disconnected.  No
                              SMDR IN/OUT displayed.

                              VOLTS NORMAL        VOLTS BACKWARDS
SMDR OUT CONNECTED BACKWARDS: PINS 3,20 NEGATIVE  PINS 4,5 NEAGATIVE
                                                       6 POSITIVE

                              Everything acts normal.  SMDR IN/OUT is displayed
                              in the bottom window as normal.  The output wasn't
                              getting SMDR signal to the call accounting.
                              
                              VOLTS NORMAL        VOLTS DISCONNECTED
SMDR OUT DISCONNECTED:        PINS 3,20 NEGATIVE  NO VOLTAGES

                              This has the same syntoms as the problem:  SMDR
                              OUT BACKWARDS.  It gets no SMDR signal to the call
                              accounting.

                              VOLTS NORMAL        VOLTS DISCONNECTED
IDE CABLE DISCONNECTED:       PIN 4,5 NEGATIVE    NO VOLTAGES

                              The ON HOOK/OFF HOOK looks normal but as you hang
                              up the timers will not freeze insteadly right
                              after the call is hung up.  In proper working
                              conditions it does freeze.  You will not get SMDR
                              IN/OUT on the display in the window at the bottom
                              of the screen.

IDE CABLE CONNECTED BACKWARDS:PIN 4,5 NEGATIVE    SMDR IN 4,5 NEGATIVE
     (ON THE INNSURE CARD)                                3,6,8 POSITIVE
                                                  SMDR OUT 3,20 NEGATIVE

     (ON THE IDE CARD)        PIN 4,5 NEGATIVE    SMDR IN 4,5 NEGATIVE
                                                          3,6 POSITIVE
                                                  SMDR OUT 3,20 NEGATIVE

                              This gets no SMDR IN/OUT and the off hook counter
                              doesn't freeze the numbers insteadly.

CO LINES DISCONNECTED:        The OFF HOOK/ON HOOK on the display will be dead. 
                              




CO LINES CONNECTED BACKWARDS: No dial tone/ or activity on the screen.

PBX DISCONNECTED:             No dial tone/ or activity on the screen.

PBX BACKWARDS:                No dial tone/ or activity on the screen.
